splashing about I fell over in the sea when I was a small child and have been terrified of the water ever since. I've had several lots of lessons, and managed to swim each time, but the second I'm left to my own devices I sink like a stone. At the moment I go to the pool with a colleague who is a qualified instructor, and I'm determined to do this or drown trying
