Hi I'm...and I'm and Open Water Swimming Addict! Its true! I love swimming in open water; lakes, bays, ocean, fjords (BTW what the heck is a fjord anyway a car?)

I'm currently training to swim The Cook Strait in 2013. In addition to swimming, I often pilot my friends in kayaks, inflatable Zodiacs and - occasionally paddle next to them on my surf board.

As an African American I have committed myself to making sure that all children of color realize the value of learning this important life-skill and give free swim lessons to all those who wish to learn.

I live in San Francisco, have an awesome Golden Retriever named Sunny who refuses to go near the water. Its sad really, you know supposed "water dog" and all.

I'm north of 40, have most of my own teeth, haven't been arrested in the last three-and-a-half weeks, and know most of the words to the Canadian National Anthem.
